This festival is celebrated throughout the state of Punjab with lots of prayers and congregations. 25th of the month will be observing Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s Shaheedi Diwas, which honor the 9th Guru’s martyrdom and sacrifice. Also remember that the second and fourth Saturdays of the month will be November 8 and 22.
The Sundays of November 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 will be bank holidays.
According to this, banks in Punjab shall remain shut on these holidays and all Sundays. Clients are to avoid any inconvenience on such days, respecting the religious and cultural heterogeneity of the state.
