Reports are emerging from Gharota Road, Pathankot that some mischievous elements riding a car, fired shots in the air during late night hours near Tajpur village in Pathankot. The video of the said incident has been captured on the CCTV and the entire matter is being probed thoroughly.
A 15-year-old minor boy was recently arrested for spying for a Pakistani ISI agency, and now this firing incident has left the residents in grip of fear. The CCTV footage of the latest firing incident has been surfacing in which the sound of the gunshots can be heard clearly.
As soon as the police came to know about the incident, they reached the spot and started investigation. Currently, the police are conducting a through probe and trying to identify the people involved in the incident. As of now no clarity is made regarding the identities of the culprits. It is noteworthy that the airbase is also located nearby the place of the incident, making the case even more sensitive.
Talking about the incident a female member of the village panchayat says that when she got to know about the firing, she checked the CCTV footage and saw a person in a car firing. She immediately informed the nearby air base officials and the police administration regarding the entire matter. She assured that the culprits would be unmasked soon.
