Punjab CM Mann reaction to PRTC employees protest

CM Mann said, "Look, whatever the previous government has done, its results are coming now. They made recruitments in an unplanned and temporary manner. No proper notifications were issued, no clarity on how long the employees would serve, what their salary would be, or what their duty conditions were. Maybe the previous government hired people thinking they would never return to power, so it didn’t matter how they recruited."

CM Mann further said, "I do not want anyone’s household to suffer. We are already in discussions with all PRTC employees. Some matters are in court, some are under PIL, and we have been holding meetings every day with the advocates concerned. We will resolve all these issues together and through dialogue."

"I request them that the methods that harass the people are not right. Sit down at the table and talk. I come from village myself and I know how difficult it is to get a job. The people should not face any problems. Protesting is a democratic right, but do not harass the people."
