The Punjab Congress has suffered a big setback as the party’s Punjab General Secretary Manoj Malhotra also known as Manu Birring has suddenly passed away in Jalandhar. The cause of his death is being reported as a silent heart attack.
He was considered one of the close associates of the former Chief Minister of Punjab and Jalandhar MP Charanjit Singh Channi.
His sudden demise has sent waves of grief through the political and social circles. As per the information received, he was taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack late at night but unfortunately, he could not be saved.
Manoj Malhotra hailed from Jalandhar and had been active in the political landscape for many years. His wife Parveena is also active in politics and has served as a councilor.
It is noteworthy that just a day before his death, Manoj had shared a fitness-related video on his Instagram handle. It is being reported that he regularly went to the gym and considered fitness as an important part of his life. Allegedly, he used to take great care of his diet and fitness.
His untimely demise has created a somber atmosphere in the Congress party and leaders and supports haver termed his passing as an irreparable loss.
