Punjabis are going in splits for past few days after a video of singer Mankirt Aulakh went viral on social media. Social media is filled with 'Mankirt Aulakh Thanedar Uncle' memes and fans are having a ball. Recently, Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal too joined the trend and hilariously asked for Mankirt Aulakh's 'dealer' number.
Gippy took to his Instagram story and shared a video of Mankirt Aulakh from a party where they both were present. In the background, people present there can be heard asking the singer about 'Thanedar Uncle'.
Thereafter, Gippy on a lighter note asked Mankirt Aulakh for the number of his dealer. It left everyone in splits. Mankirt also took it lightly and jokingly introduced a man as his dealer.
For those who are still not aware, Mankirt Aulakh's Thanedar Uncle meme went viral when he was giving an interview inside his car. All of a sudden the car stopped and Mankirt was seen worried. Thereafter, Mankirt took out his walkie talkie and asked a cop i.e. 'Thanedar Uncle' whether there was any issue. The Punjabi singer also said that it was a bullet proof car and he hopes that he is not going into a trap.
However, the way Mankirt Aulakh expressed it amused Punjabi fans and many claimed that the singer may be high and hence the word 'dealer' (drug dealer).
Notably, after it became a meme, Mankirt Aulakh took to his Instagram and shared a video of his concert in Chandigarh. In Chandigarh, Mankirt introduced the real 'Thanedar Uncle' with his fans.
