A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh. The meeting primarily focused on reviewing the latest health scheme that is all set to roll out in Punjab.
According to reports, private medical colleges and doctor’s organizations have assured their full support to the scheme. Talking about the scheme the Health Minister states that the scheme plans to cater every section of the society and provide them with quality healthcare facilities and also to reduce the strain on the pockets of the public by reducing their financial burden. The minister highlights these points as the main objectives of the scheme.
Adding to this, the doctors say that this health scheme initiative by the Chief Minister of Punjab is going to provide free and cashless treatment to the public.
