

MoS Ravneet Bittu on Wednesday announced the inclusion of an additional stoppage in Ferozepur-Delhi Vande Bharat Train. Ferozepur-Delhi Vande Bharat Train will now have a stoppage at Barnala Station in Punjab.
Train number 26462- Ferozepur-Delhi Vande Bharat Train currently stops at stations- Faridkot, Bathinda, Dhuri, Patiala, Ambala Cant, Kurukshetra, and Panipat.
Bittu in his address said, "There was a demand of people to have a stoppage of Vande Bharat in Barnala. I am please to announce that Ferozepur-Delhi Vande Bharat Train will now have a stoppage in Barnala. It will have positive impact for the economy of Mansa, Malerkotla and Sangrur."
Bittu also shared a video with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in which he was seen expressing gratitude for including Barnala as a stoppage for Vande Bharat Train.
"Thankyou very much sir. Barnala is a very big district of Malwa. In Malwa, there is Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Malerkotla. Three districts are major- Mansa, Malerkotla and Barnala. Barnala is an industrial town."
