

In a bid to boost connectivity with bordering areas, Firozpur Cantt-Delhi Vande Bharat is likely to start this week. Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express (Ferozepur-Delhi Vande Bharat) is among the much awaited rail services that people were demanding for.
As per reports, Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 7. It means this week Punjab will get one more Vande Bharat Express and that too on a different route.
The 26462 Ferozepur Cantt-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will depart from Ferozepur Cantt at 7:55 am and arrive in Delhi at 14:35 pm. The return train, the 26461 Delhi-Ferozepur Cantt Vande Bharat Express, will depart at 4 pm the same day and arrive in Ferozepur Cantt at 10:35 pm.
The Vande Bharat Express with expected number 26462 will start from Ferozepur at 7.55 am and travel via Bathinda, Dhuri, Patiala, Ambala, Kurukshetra and Panipat before reaching Delhi at 2.35 pm.
26461 Delhi-Firozepur Vande Bharat Express will then return from Delhi at 4 pm and reach Firozpur at 10.30 pm.
As per reports, the train will operate six days a week, except on Wednesdays.
Reports further suggest that Ferozepur-Delhi rail link will get more trains other than Vande Bharat Express that is mentioned above. There are reports that Moga-New Delhi Intercity Express will soon be extended to Firozepur.
