In a major development, an Armenia-based gangster named Lucky Patial recently took reasonability on the latest firing that took place on Tuesday near Brahmanwala village in Kotkapura, Faridkot district.
Jeewanjot Singh alias Jugnu was on target during the attack allegedly orchestrated by gangster Lucky Patial. Notably, during the firing Jugnu's driver Yadvinder Singh, a resident of Mohali died. On the other hand, Jugnu escaped the assassination attempt.
Notably, Jugnu was once an accused in the infamous murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. He got a clean chit in the case.
On Tuesday, three shooters riding on a bike fired indiscriminately on the car, in which Yadvinder Singh, who was sitting in the car, died on the spot.
Police said that this attack was done by targeting Jugnu, but he left the Gurudwara Sahib in another car.
Jugnu was accused of doing recce of Sidhu Moose Wala and providing information to the gangsters. However, the documents presented by the police in the court could not prove Jugnu to be the accused. Due to which the court gave Jugnu a clean chit from the case.
Lucky Patial in an unverified social media post that reads, "The attack was to be done on both Jugnu and Yadvinder. On 29 May 2022, when the police had put Jugnu's name in the Sidhu Moose Wala case, but Jugnu got his name out of the list by showing his hold in the government. With money and power, you can get your name removed from the government's list, but not from our list. There was already a warning from our side, now whoever stays with Jugnu will also suffer."
For the unversed, Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered on May 29, 2022 in Jawaharke village of Mansa district of Punjab. He was going with two friends in his Thar car when the attackers opened fire on him.
The attackers included 6 shooters, who belonged to Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gang. This murder was planned by Goldie Brar from Canada, in which Lawrence's brother Anmol and nephew Sachin Thapan were also involved.
Gaurav Patial alias Lucky Patial, has been active in many states including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. He is currently at the top of the wanted list of Punjab Police. Lucky Patial, a resident of Dhanas area of Chandigarh, was once a normal youth, but gradually he entered the world of crime in such a way that today he is counted among the most vicious gangsters.
