Beyond the Gymkhana Club elections, Kohli has continued his public outreach in Jalandhar through initiatives focused on civic issues and direct interaction with residents.

Through the ‘Fit Central’ initiative, modern sports playgrounds are being developed across all 23 wards of the constituency, equipped with floodlights, turf walking tracks and facilities for games such as badminton, football, volleyball and cricket. Kohli has also undertaken public outreach programmes, including a special Raksha Bandhan programme in Jalandhar Central which witnessed the participation of thousands of women, including women volunteers, Sakhis, Anganwadi workers, grassroots workers and other women from the constituency. The women came together to celebrate the festival and performed the traditional Rakhi ritual with Nitin Kohli, AAP Jalandhar Central Halka In-charge, tying Rakhi on his wrist and extending their blessings, affection and good wishes.

Development-related issues, including civic infrastructure and sports facilities, have also remained part of his engagement with residents and local communities.

The latest Gymkhana Club election result adds to Kohli’s organisational work in Jalandhar. With the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections approaching, he is expected to continue his public outreach and engagement with residents across the city.

Kohli said the focus would remain on maintaining direct public contact, addressing local concerns and continuing development-oriented work in Jalandhar.
