Pandit Rao Dharnewar in his letter has outlined that if the singer is to be allowed to sing, then at least a written assurance should be taken from him that he will remove his YouTube songs that include alcohol, drugs and women.

If he does not do so, he should not be allowed to sing. He has said in the letter that this is necessary in view of the war waged by Punjab Government against drugs.
