Slowly and steadily, Jalandhar's Adampur Airport is coming back on track. Multiple flight services from Adampur Airport have already been restored. For instance, Adampur Airport to Mumbai flight services were restored a few days back. Passengers at Jalandhar Airport welcomed the flight's touchdown with great enthusiasm.

Now, demands are rising for Adampur to New Delhi flight services. Jalandhar DC Himanshu Aggarwal in an exclusive interview with True Scoop gave an update over Adampur Airport to New Delhi upcoming flights.

Before COVID there used to be 3 to 4 flights. They used to go to Delhi, Mumbai and of course Sri Nanded Sahib. Since, there was a decrease in footfall due to COVID only 1 flight remained. We are constantly requesting Airport Authorities to start flights to Delhi from Adampur as soon as possible. There is a huge demand for it. Multiple airlines have shown interest in it as well. Flight to Mumbai has already been started. We are now trying for New Delhi also.
