There was a simple setup in one of my friend's garage in California, US. He/she had a mic and I had my voice. Then I said lets record it. How will we tell the world that we want to sing. We recorded the voice but there was no music. Then I thought that DJ makes music. We did not know that there is a producer or music director at that time.

So, I thought we will stand outside clubs and will say that whosoever the DJ here should call me because I want to make an album. Then, I got a call. My number was written on CD. I made the CD overnight. We then went to San Francisco. We stood outside a club. I had only $20.

When people were coming outside after finishing the clubbing, we started distributing CDs to everyone. We did this for multiple weeks. Then one day I got a call 'hey what's up Jasmin' (Bohemia)."

Jasmine was standing outside clubs and distributing CDs. People in California often used to do this, especially rappers. It was a culture there. There is so much hunger and passion there. If I would have stayed in Jalandhar or India, I could not have done this. In fact, I would not be here where I am today. Because in our family it is said that how will you become a singer. You are not even trained. I don't wanna speak much else I will start talking about everyone."
