The only government declared public holiday in Punjab is on September 22. Punjab Public Holiday on September 22 is to mark the occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti. Maharaja Agrasen was a legendary king and the founder of the Agrawal community.
There on September 22 i.e. on Monday, government offices and schools will remain closed statewide.
Notably, Sunday i.e. September 21 is already a weekend. So all schools and offices including private & government will remain closed on this date.
Notably, on September 20, government offices will remain closed in Punjab. No, September 20 is not second or fourth Saturday. Still government offices in Punjab on September 20 will remain closed.
