In a heart-breaking development, Punjabi singer Master Saleem's father Ustad Puran Shah Koti has passed away at the age of 72. According to reports, Ustad Puran Shah Koti was living with his son in Deol Nagar, Jalandhar. Reports suggest that Master Saleem's father was sick for past few days and he was undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Apart from being father of Master Saleem, Ustad Puran Shah Koti was said to be guru of multiple famous Punjabi singers. Reports suggest that Ustad Puran Shah Koti had trained multiple singers that include names like Hansraj Hans, Jasbir Jassi, etc. Ustad Puran Shah Koti was himself a Sufi singer.
