Murder mystery of ex-Punjab AAG’s wife solved, servant tied himself while partners fled with cash

Investigation has revealed that the accused had planned the murder along with his accomplices.

The mastermind behind the murder of the wife of former Additional Advocate General of Punjab, Krishan Kumar Goyal, turns out to be orchestrated by the family’s domestic help, who has been working for them for the past 9 years.

The accused has been identified as Neeraj, and is apprehended by the police. Investigation has revealed that the accused had planned the murder along with his accomplices. Currently, the police is on a manhunt for his accomplices.  

Although, the murder was executed very cleverly, the accused broke down during intense police questioning, and confessed everything. The investigation further reveals that the accused had executed the crime in accord to a well-planned strategy. He was aware that the woman was alone at the home and was confident that the he could easily commit the crime without getting caught. He later along with his accomplices executed the crime.

Police’s suspicion grew when they found Neeraj tied to a chair, but there were no injuries found on his body. Allegedly, the assailants tied Neeraj to a chair and gagged him to stage a false scene. The accused fled with around 40 tolas of gold and Rs 8.5 lakh in cash. Dilpreet Singh, Superintendent of Police, Mohali City says that the remaining accused will also be held soon.  

On Tuesday morning, when the house maid arrived for work, she found the women lying dead on the ground. The domestic servant was found tied to a chair. The maid immediately informed the police.

The police took the servant into custody and questioned him. The forensic team also reached the spot and collected evidence. CCTV footage has also emerged in this case, showing two criminals arriving at the scene.
