A Nagar Kirtan is being organized in Jalandhar on January 2 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The Nagar Kirtan will commence from Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Mohalla Gobindgarh, and will pass through S.D. college, Bharat Soda Factory, Railway Road, Mandi Fatehganj, Gurudwara Diwan Asthan Central Town, Milap Chownk, Phagwara Gate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chownk, Panj Peer Chownk, Khingra Gate, Gurudwara Shri Singh Sabha Adda Hushiar, Mai Hira Gate, Bhagwan Valmiki Gate, Patel Chowk, Vegetable Market Chowk, Jail Chowk, Basti Adda Chowk, Lord Valmik Chowk (Jyoti Chowk), Rainak Bazar, Milap Chowk and conclude at Gurudwara Shri Diwan Asthan Central Town.
In the view of the large gathering and to ensure smooth conduct of the event, traffic will remain diverted on the Nagar Kirtan route from 9 AM to 10 PM on January 2.
