AAP Jalandhar Central Halka In-charge Nitin Kohli today met Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and congratulated him on the Aam Aadmi Party’s historic victory in the Punjab Municipal Elections. On the occasion, a special Mandala Art painting, depicting ‘Ik Onkar (ੴ), created by his wife Nidhi Kohli, was presented to Bhagwant Singh Mann as a token of respect and appreciation.
Speaking after the meeting, Nitin Kohli said that the overwhelming mandate received by the Aam Aadmi Party is a clear endorsement of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership and the Punjab Government’s development-oriented policies. He said the people of Punjab have once again expressed their faith in honest governance, transparency and politics focused on public welfare.
Kohli stated that initiatives such as free electricity, better and free healthcare through Aam Aadmi Clinics, improvements in government schools, employment generation, farmer-friendly decisions and citizen-centric governance have directly benefited people across Punjab. The results of the municipal elections reflect the trust that citizens have placed in these transformative policies.
He further said that the continuous support received by the Aam Aadmi Party in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election, Assembly by-elections, Panchayat elections and now the Municipal Elections clearly demonstrates that Punjabis are standing firmly with the politics of performance and development.
Nitin Kohli said the civic poll results are not merely an electoral victory but a strong message from the people that they want Punjab to continue moving forward on the path of progress, good governance and inclusive development. He added that the massive mandate has further strengthened the vision of building a prosperous Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
Expressing gratitude to the people of Punjab, Kohli said the victory belongs to every citizen who has supported development and public welfare. He reaffirmed that the government will continue working with greater commitment to ensure equal development of every city, town and village across the state.
