
Accelerating the pace of civic development in the city, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jalandhar Central Halka in-charge Nitin Kohli has inaugurated development projects worth approximately ₹20 crore across 31 locations in the past two days.
In addition to these, development works worth ₹10.76 crore have already commenced (without formal inauguration), while projects worth another ₹10.96 crore are expected to begin soon, with tender processes already underway.
These projects aim to strengthen civic infrastructure and improve public amenities across all wards of Jalandhar Central.
Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Kohli emphasized,
“Our goal is not just to showcase development but to create a system where every citizen can experience convenience and better quality of life. We urge residents to come forward and share what development works their areas need — this is people-driven progress.”
Mayor Vaneet Dhir lauded the pace and transparency of civic works under the AAP government, adding that this progress is a result of teamwork and the people’s trust.

Central Town Roads, Ranjit Nagar Roads, main SD College Road, PUDA Market Interlocking Tiles opposite DAC Complex, park upgradation near Bus Stand Flyover, Ward 12 internal roads, park renovation works from Kapurthala Chowk to Workshop Chowk, Gopal Nagar, Hargobindpura, Khalsa Dairy Wali Gali to Santa Da Dera, Ram Garment Chowk to Tikkiya Wala Chowk, Kajura Mohalla, Vadda Ali Mohalla.
