Diljit Dosanjh on Thursday issued a message for Punjab Floods 2025 victims and promised them that help will not only be limited to distributing rations. Sharing a video, Diljit said, "I will speak in Hindi so that everyone understands. The situation in Punjab is very bad due to flood. Houses of people have been swept away, crops are destroyed, animals have died. Punjab is wounded but not defeated. We have risen from the lap of Punjab, Punjab has embraced us like its own, and we will die in its lap. To the victim families, I want to tell them that we are all with you. It’s not that the matter will end just by giving food and water.
Until or unless their life does not become normal, we all are with them. Local NGO, Punjab media organizations are doing a tremendous work. I will thank them as well. Punjab Youths have themselves come forward. They are controlling the situation very well. I want to thank them all.
Whatever resources I have, whatever corporate houses I know, our team have talked to them. Everyone is ready to help Punjab. They all want to come forward. We will overcome this crisis. Punjab has always faced crisis. Its like beautiful things often catch the evil eye so. It has happened to us many times and we will come out of the crisis."
