An audio recording of Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti is surfacing online following claims by former Punjab Congress leader Kamaljit Singh Brar that he received death threats. In the audio, Bhatti claims he did not threaten anyone. Giving clarification he says, "I have heard the call recording. Neither I nor any of my men have threatened a person named Kamaljit Brar. He is using my name in his interview, however, I don't know who this man is and why he is saying this."

Bhatti further adds, "Either this man wants to get security or he wants to gain fame by using my name. He should control the language he is using for me in his interviews. I don't give threats, I don't have the time to call anyone nor do I have any enmity with this person."
