He added, "I remember the doctor put in an injection; it's called a block, to numb the pain. That was the most painful experience of my life, but that shook me, man."

Parmish Verma and his friends were stabbed in Mohali on April 14, 2018, while returning from a show for dinner at the JW Marriot Hotel. During the chase, attackers in a Creta car opened fire on Parmish's car.

His buddy Kulwant Singh Chahal, aka Laddi, was also injured in the knee, but Parmish, with his folks, managed to flee and alert the police, who rushed them to the Forties Hospital.

Gangster Dilpreet Singh Dahan later claimed responsibility for the assault on Facebook.

'Life goes on because the world never stops for anyone,' he remarked on the podcast with Ranveer, talking about his journey of healing from that incident.

He also mentioned that his restorative phase of 6-8 months had been challenging both mentally and physically, and he ended up dealing with depression; hence, he was seeking help from a therapist.

Eventually, with time, he concluded not to stay as a victim, so he encouraged himself to work again after that awful event.

Allhabadia questioned, 'Will you ever tell your daughter about this?' to which he responded that he would certainly tell her about it and how he healed himself, as well as include this brief chapter in his book later.
