In a major action the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police along with the Drug Inspector team conducted raids on medical stores in the Bhargav Camp area and during the raid officials recovered more than 500 banned tablets and capsules from a shop named ‘SS Medical Store’ and following the recovery a case was registered against the shopkeeper and an investigation has been started.

ADCP warns of strict legal action 

ADCP (City-2) Rakesh Kumar said that the raid was carried out by a joint team of police and Drug Inspectors and he confirmed that strict action is being taken against the accused along with this he also gave a clear warning to all medical store owners in the area and said that if anyone is found selling banned medicines or selling without proper bills, strict legal action will be taken against them without any delay. The police are now continuing their investigation to find out more details in the case.
