In a major reshuffle in Punjab Police, 61 officers including DSPs and ACPs were transferred. As per latest transfer order, PPS Ajay Singh has now been posted as ACP SD of Jalandhar Central. Before this, he was serving as ACP PBI Special Crime, Jalandhar.
Ajay Singh is said to have an extensive experience in handling crimes. He has also held many important portfolios in the past.
Ajay Singh has also served as DSP of Ropar in the past. He also has significant experience in Jalandhar, having worked as the head of the Jalandhar CIA staff. In addition, the PPS officer has also served as an officer in the staff of several senior officers. Ajay Singh is known for his image as a strict and disciplined officer.
