Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has reached Sri Harmandir Sahib. CM Mann arrived at Sri Harmandir Sahib in tight security. After reaching the Golden Temple, CM Mann paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib and also ate prasad.
Notably, one of the security officials with CM Mann was seen carrying a black bag. Punjab CM is all set to appear before Sri Akal Takht Sahib today to present his explanation in connection with alleged remarks and a related video controversy. CM Mann is expected to appear before Sri Akal Takht at 12 pm.
According to reports, the Chief Minister began his journey on foot from Bharawan Da Dhaba near Darbar Sahib. Earlier, the Chief Minister himself had stated that he would arrive at Akal Takht barefoot as a humble Sikh.
