
Punjab government on September 2 confirmed that all 23 districts of the state have been hit by flood. As per government data's number, over 3.51 lakh people have been affected by Punjab Floods and death toll has raised to 30.
In order to carry out relief works and rescue operation, Punjab Police, Indian Armed Forces, NDRF, District Administration, and NGOs are working day and night.

All 23 districts of the state are in the grip of floods and more than 1200 villages have been affected. Along with this, the water level in the Ghaggar river is also continuously increasing. While the water was flowing normally on Monday, by 9 am on Wednesday it reached 7 feet, which is just 1 foot less than the danger mark. In Mohali too, the district administration has issued an alert and said to be cautious on the banks of Ghaggar river and Sukhna lake.
