In a major shakeup in the Punjab Administration, the Government of Punjab on Wednesday transferred 31 IAS and PCS officers to various other posts. In the latest rejig, 2017-batch IAS Officer Rahul Chaba has been posted as DC Sangrur.
IAS Rahul Chaba will replace IAS Officer Sandeep Rishi. A total of 3 DCs have been transferred in the latest order.
Apart from this, 2017-batch IAS Officer, Gautam Jain who was posted as Commissioner of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation has now been posted as Additional Secretary, Personnel and in addition Managing Director, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Ltd. in place of IAS officer Vineet Kumar.
