The Punjab Police Housing Corporation, though a small organisation, has taken a heartfelt step to stand beside the people of Punjab in this hour of suffering.
A total of 146 members of the Corporation, including engineering and clerical staff (excluding Class IV employees), have contributed their one-day salary amounting to Rs 2,27,107 towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The recent incessant monsoon rains and floods have caused unimaginable hardship and loss across the State.
While the Corporation recognizes that this contribution is but a drop in the ocean compared to the scale of devastation, it has been made with deep sincerity and a strong sense of solidarity with fellow citizens in distress.
The Corporation believes that every act of support, however small, carries within it the spirit of compassion and shared responsibility. This contribution is not just financial, but a symbol of the unity with the family with the people of Punjab, reaffirming that in times of adversity, standing together is the greatest strength.
