A firing incident involving Rahul, the son of Ludhiana’s well-known Pandit Kulche-Chole vendor, was reportedly reported late Wednesday night. Rahul was allegedly shot twice and taken to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMC) for treatment.
According to the information available, one bullet struck him in the chest and the other in the back. The incident reportedly took place when Rahul had gone to attend a birthday party.
It was discovered at midnight, when the family reached, he was already dead. According to the family members, they came to know about the incident at around 12:30 in the night. Rahul's friends called his brother-in-law and told him that Rahul was admitted in DMC and he had been shot. When the family members reached the hospital, they came to know that Rahul had died at 11:55. After this, they immediately informed the police. According to the family, Rahul had got married only 3 years ago. He has a wife, parents and a married sister at home.
Family Yet to Issue Statement
Sources have claimed that Rahul may have succumbed to his injuries. However, his death could not be independently verified at the time of writing. The family has reportedly declined to comment on the incident so far.
