After the completion of Karthik Purnima, the Kar Sewa of Jalandhar Devi Talab Mandir will start from November 7, 2025. During this devotees will perform the sewa of cleaning Sarovar of Sri Devi Talab Mandir in Jalandhar. Before this, the Kar Sewa took place in 2016. It means, the Sarovar's Kar Swea is taking place after a span of 8 years.
Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria will also visit Jalandhar Devi Talab Mandir on November 7. Sri Devi Talab Mandir's General Secretary Rajesh Vij informed True Scoop that apart from Punjab Governor, Bramharishi Kumar Swami Ji will also attend.
Sri Devi Talab Mandir's General Secretary Rajesh Vij said, "From tomorrow, Kar Sewa will begin. The ceremony will start with Puja followed by a Hawan. Bramharishi Kumar Swami Ji and the Governor of Punjab are expected to attend the event.
The Kar Sewa work will formally commence the day after tomorrow. The Sarowar has previously undergone Kar Sewa in 2003 and again in 2016.
Until now, the Karthik Purnima program was underway, due to which many devotees were already present there. Meanwhile, several political leaders are currently occupied with the Tarn Taran by-election activities, but devotees are still expected to arrive in large numbers."
