Punjab National Bank (PNB) that is India's second largest bank may take some strict actions from August 9. Bank account holders in PNB who are yet to do their KYC (Know Your Client) have deadline till August 8.
Punjab National Bank (PNB) had issued an alert to its customer in June requesting bank account holders to update their KYC.
If the KYC update of your account in PNB is pending, then you can get it done by 8 August 2025. Earlier, the last date for getting this work done was 30 June 2025, but later it was extended.
As per reports, if you fail to do KYC by August 8, your bank account may stop working. However, it may change if PNB decides to extend the Punjab National Bank KYC deadline again.
PNB Account holders will have to submit information like identity card, address proof, recent photo, PAN or Form 60, income proof and mobile number to the bank. Customers can complete this entire process through the PNB One app, internet banking or registered email, post or nearest branch.
If your KYC gets updated, there will be no interruption in your account. If you do not do this, the bank can also stop the transactions in your account. Due to this, you will not be able to use your account.
