The decision, announced by Baljit Singh Ahluwalia and detailed in a letter from the association, was taken jointly by representatives from all 13 market associations.

According to the official notice from the electricity department, certain regions of the city will not have electricity for five hours, i.e., between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Several regions across Punjab are experiencing electricity outages today due to both scheduled maintenance work and damage caused by last night's thunderstorm.

According to the electricity department, power supply will be shut down from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, impacting feeders linked to Pratap Bagh, Mandi Road, Central Mill, and Railway Road.
