IMD Chandigarh has predicted that multiple districts of Punjab will witness at least two days of rainfall- February 26 and February 27.

 While IMD had predicted that Punjab will witness rainfall on February 19 and 20, Jalandhar on Thursday witnessed hailstorms from around 3 pm to 4 pm in many areas.

The western disturbance, which became active on February 4 became sluggish on Thursday in Punjab resulting in no rainfall despite predictions.
