WhatsApp is working on a new account restriction feature, which has been spotted in the latest Android version
This new update will temporarily block users from chatting
If users are found to breach the policy, then you won’t be able to chat anymore
You will still have ability to receive and respond to messages within existing chats
WhatsApp will not detect spam-like behaviour, bulk messaging, and other activities
If any of their user is found to be doing these activities and violating policies then it will automatically block you
This aims to strike a balance between enforcing policy compliance and preserving user access
WhatsApp will offer users an opportunity to rectify their behaviour
If not rectified then a permanent ban will also be imposed
