Japanese car manufacturer Honda is set to launch its first mid-size SUV, the “Elevate,” in India.
The car was unveiled by the company on June 6th this year
The Elevate SUV boasts a mileage of 17 kilometers per liter on a single liter of petrol.
The starting price of the car can be expected to be around 11 lakhs INR (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Elevate SUV enters a segment competing against Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyrid, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Citroën C3 Aircross.
The car’s mileage was unveiled on July 25th, with certified figures of 15.31 kmpl for the manual gearbox and 16.92 kmpl for the CVT automatic transmission.
The car features a 40-liter fuel tank, offering a range of up to 612 km (manual) and 679 km (automatic) on a full tank.
