8 Indian states that sell liquors at cheapest price

As per a survey, Goa is the most budget-friendly destination for liquor enthusiasts. Due to the lowest liquor tax, Goa's liquor prices are much lower as compared to neighboring states.

The national capital which is also the union territory, New Delhi is second on the list. Rs 100 bottle in Goa is priced at rs 134 in New Delhi.

Haryana ranks 3 on the list. The government levies a 47 percent tax on a liquor's MRP.

Uttar Pradesh is fourth on the list as the state government levies a 66 percent tax on mrp.

Rajasthan ranks 5 on the list with the government imposing 69 percent.

Maharashtra ranks number 6 on the list. With a tax of 71 percent, a bottle of Black Label, priced at around Rs 3,100 in Delhi, commands approximately Rs 4,000 in Mumbai.

Telangana is at number 8 on the list. As per reports, the state government imposes a 68 percent tax on Rs 246 MRP Index

Karnataka is at number 8 which sells liquor at the most expensive price with a tax rate of 83 percent. A bottle of Rs 100 in Goa sold at Rs 513 in Karnataka.
