Tom Cruise’s upcoming movie, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1,” has faced multiple delays but is finally set to release next month, bringing back Cruise as Ethan Hunt.
Fans of the Mission: Impossible franchise have eagerly awaited this installment since the last movie, “Mission: Impossible - Fallout,” which was released in 2018.
“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1” is scheduled to release on July 12, 2023, after several rescheduled dates, causing frustration among fans.
The movie is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously directed “Mission: Impossible - Fallout” and “Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.”
The sequel, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2,” is expected to release on June 28, 2024.
The cast of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1” includes familiar faces such as Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby, alongside Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt.
Henry Czerny’s character Kittridge makes a return, and new cast members include Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, and Pom Klementieff as the movie’s villains.
Other notable actors joining the cast are Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, Shea Whigam, Rob Delaney, and Mark Gatiss, while Sean Harris may not reprise his role as Solomon Lane.
The first “Mission: Impossible” movie, directed by Brian De Palma, was released on May 22, 1996, launching the successful franchise.
