According to the latest update by the government, if any individual receives suspicious SMS, calls, or WhatsApp messages claiming that their KYC has expired or that it will contain any update regarding SIM card, gas, or electricity connection issues, then the individual can register a complaint on the CHAKSHU facility.

Step 1 - Visit the Sanchar Saathi Suspected Fraud Communication Reporting page.

Step 2 - Select the type of fraud and the medium through which fraud has been conducted (via call, SMS, or WhatsApp).

Step 3 - Fill in the details related to the suspicious call or message.

Step 4 - Review your report and click SUBMIT to take action.

Besides this, if you have fallen prey to the crime and you have lost your money, immediately report to cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
