For instance, a report broke out that Nepal former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal's wife Rajyalaxmi Chitrakar died. It was reported by the world media that Rajyalaxmi Chitrakar died after her house was set ablaze by the Nepal GenZ Protestors.
The news of the death of Raj Lakshmi Chitrakar, wife of former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, who was burnt during the violence in Nepal, has proved to be a rumour.
As per India TV, Raj Lakshmi Chitrakar's condition is critical and she is being treated in the hospital.
It was reported that Raj Lakshmi Chitrakar died in Dallu area of Kathmandu during the violence on Tuesday. Here the mob set fire to the residence of former PM Khanal.
Raj Lakshmi Chitrakar was trapped inside the residence at the time of the incident. After this, the Nepal media ran the news of Chitrakar's death. But now there is information that she was seriously burnt.
The Kathmandu Post newspaper reported on Wednesday that Chitrakar's condition is stable, but critical.
Chitrakar was taken to Kirtipur Hospital in critical condition. Hospital director Dr. Kiran Nakarmi was also quoted saying, "Her condition is critical and is the same as it was when she was brought for treatment."
