While Dhurandhar is a multi star-cast movie, Rehman Dakait's character played by Akshaye Khanna has been buzzing among fans. Fans are so impressed with Akshaye Khanna's acting that they are digging deep into real life Rehman Dakait and Rehman Dakait's wife.
In the movie, actress Saumya Tandon plays the character of Rehman Dakait's wife. Now, the question arises who was Rehman Dakait's wife and what did she do after gangster's death?
Saumya Tandon plays the character of Ulfat who is Rehman Dakait's wife. Rehman loves his wife Ulfat and his children. The movie has showcased that Rehman Dakait had two sons with Ulfat. Rehman Dakait's elder son was killed during a party while his younger son was saved by Hamza played by Ranveer Singh.
However, Pakistani media reports state that Rehman Dakait had multiple wives. It is said that Rehman had at least 3 wives and had multiple children. Notably, none of the Pakistani media portals mention name of Rehman Dakait's Real Wife.
In the movie, politician Jameel, Hamza and SP Chaudhry Aslam conspire to kill Rehman Dakait. In reality, Rehman was killed in a police encounter led by SP Chaudhry Aslam.
According to reports, Rehman Dakait's widow or Rehman Dakait's wife approached the Sindh High Court claiming that her husband was killed in a fake encounter. Chaudhry Aslam, the officer responsible for the operation, was later killed in a Taliban suicide attack in 2014.
She has also accused Asif Ali Zardari of murder and Nabil Gabol of supporting the encounter. It is pertinent to mention here that the character of Jameel Jamali is said to be inspired by Nabil Gabol.
Nabil Gabol is currently an elected Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from NA-239 (Karachi South-I).
