The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced the Chief Minister’s Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana in the Budget 2026–27 and the aim is simple: to give monthly financial support to women and help them become financially independent.
Eligible women will receive ₹1,000 per month
Women from Scheduled Caste (SC) category can get up to ₹1,500 per month
The money will be sent directly to bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer)
Must be a permanent resident of Punjab
Must be 18 years or older
Must have an Aadhaar card linked to bank account
