There has been some confusion around the Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana after some news portals claimed that the registration has been delayed however, official sources clearly say this is not true.
As per the official government website registration for the scheme starts today April 13, 2026 and the government has described this day as a “new beginning” for Punjab and has confirmed that women can start applying as soon as the portal opens.
The official message also explains that women who have all their documents ready like Aadhaar, voter ID and bank account can apply and under the scheme eligible women will receive ₹1,000 per month (general category) and ₹1,500 per month (SC category).
The official social media handle of AAP Punjab has also confirmed that registration has begun today and it stated that anganwadi centres have been set up to help women with the application process in different districts along with that a party source also confirmed that there is no delay and the registration is going live as planned.
