On Friday, the much-awaited emotional yet patriotic song 'Ghar Kab Aaoge' was released. The makers have released 10-minutes long song but in an audio format on Anu Malik's YouTube channel.

The evergreen song has been sung by multiple singers like- Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Roop Kumar Rathod, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh.

While every singer brings his own uniqueness to the song, Punjabi fans may get goosebumps when Diljit Dosanjh starts to sing in Hindi.

Diljit Dosanjh's stanza starts with an emotional line on mother and motherland. Diljit who plays an Indian Air Force officer tries to convey that his love for motherland is more than his love for mother.

"Ye puchon aankhon ke, chalaktey pani se bichadta hai koi kahan aasani se. Mai piche chor aaya duwaye karti maa ki mujhe ussasey bhi pyaari ye dharti maa (Ask these eyes, from the tears that overflow, can anyone ever part so easily? I left behind my praying mother, yet even dearer to me is this Motherland).

Border 2 is the sequel of cult-classic movie Border. Border was released in 1997 and it was based on the true story of battle of Longewala in which 120 Indian soldiers defend their post all night from Pakistani intrusion until they receive assistance from the Indian Air Force the next morning.

Border 2 is expected to be released in theaters in January 2026. Since Diljit is playing Shaheed Nirmaljit Singh Sekhon in the movie, it is expected that that the movie will be based on 1971 Indo-Pak war during which Bangladesh was created. However, multiple reports suggest that it will based on the Kargil War of 1999.
