Weather of Punjab is all set to change once again. After back--to-back days of severe cold along with dense fog, multiple districts of Punjab are witnessing bright sunny mornings and afternoons for the past few days. In fact, maximum temperature in Punjab has raised a few degrees over the past few days.
However, it seems like winter in Punjab is far from over. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) of Chandigarh unit has put most of the districts of Punjab on yellow and orange alert for thunderstorm and lightning. The Weather Department has also warned that gusty wind up to 30-50 kmph will blow in the affected Punjab districts.
According to AccuWeather, Jalandhar is expected to be hit by thunderstorm on late Thursday (January 22) night. It also predicts that 'showery' weather is expected through Friday morning as well.
By January 22 evening, Ludhiana is expected to witness 98 percent of cloud cover. Then by late night, Ludhiana is also expected to witness rainfall. So, most probably, Ludhiana is also expected to see similar weather condition like Jalandhar.
