'No COVID cases in Punjab': Health Minister Dr. Balbir says 'new J1 variant not with serious illness'

The cases have been linked to the J1 variant, which the minister emphasized is a mild strain and not associated with serious illness. Dr. Balbir Singh informed that over 98% of patients affected by the J1 variant across India have already been discharged, indicating a swift recovery rate and minimal complications. Importantly, no COVID-19 case has been reported in Punjab so far, the minister confirmed.
