After the big success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 fans are now asking one main question: will there be Dhurandhar 3? The spy thriller franchise directed by Aditya Dhar and led by Ranveer Singh has become one of the biggest hits in recent times and because of this social media is full of demands for a third part.
Now actor Rakesh Bedi has shared his thoughts on this and clearly said that a third part may not happen and adds that he does not think Dhurandhar 3 will be made as according to him the story already ends with the spy returning to his country which gives a proper closure however he also added that Dhurandhar is a franchise and this means new stories can still be made in the future possibly with different actors.
Rakesh Bedi explained that the success of the first film made people very excited for the second part and now after watching Dhurandhar 2 fans are naturally expecting a third film to continue the story talking further he also spoke about his role as Jameel Jamali whose character is revealed as an Indian spy working in Pakistan as this twist became a major talking point among viewers.
The Dhurandhar series is a spy thriller set in Pakistan in the early 2000s and it shows the journey of an Indian spy working against terror networks with the first film (released December 2025) earned around ₹1300 crore worldwide, the second film Dhurandhar: The Revenge (released March 2026) crossed ₹1100 crore in India and ₹1700 crore globally and together both films have earned more than ₹3000 crore worldwide making the franchise a huge box office success.
The films feature a strong cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Akshaye Khanna.
Right now there is no official confirmation of Dhurandhar 3 even though fans want it one of the main actors believes the story has already ended but still since it is a franchise future films in the same universe cannot be completely ruled out.
