

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh received a threat demanding extortion money, following which now the Mumbai Crime Branch has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Harry Boxer, who is a suspected member of the Lawrence gang. As per reports, officials stated that Ranveer Singh received a threat via WhatsApp voice note on his manger’s phone number. Allegedly, the manager identified himself as Harry Boxer and demanded Rs 20 crore.
It was revealed during the investigation that a Virtual Private Network (VPN) was used to send the voice note that helped the sender to conceal his identity and location. As of now, the reports suggest that the audio clip has been sent to Punjab and Haryana for verification.
As per the available information, Ranveer Singh received the threat on February 2, following the firing at Rohit Shetty’s home. The news later surfaced on social media on February 10. Following the threat, security at Ranveer’s house was beefed up and the case was handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch. Reportedly, Ranveer and Deepika have also increased their private security, deploying six armed security guards.
Following this incident, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty received another threat via an audio clip, where again the person on the other side identified himself as Harry Boxer. After this threatening audio clip surfaced on social media platforms, the Mumbai Police recorded statements from Ranveer Singh’s and Rohit Shetty’s managers.
Harry Boxer whose real name is Hari Chand Jat is believed to be an active member of the Lawrence gang. Harry Boxer is a resident of Alwar district in Rajasthan, and allegedly was a boxing coach in Jaipur that earned him the Boxer moniker. As per sources, he has cases registered against him in Rajasthan, Punjab and Delhi for extortion, robbery and attempted murder.
