Created by Uri-fame Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is turning out to be the biggest Bollywood movie of 2025. Apart from enjoying massive footfall and earning more than Rs 150 crore (while writing), Dhurandhar has also sparked a discussion among not only film critics but also fans.
While majority of people are hailing Aditya Dhar for exposing Pakistan through his mass movie Dhurandhar, many are slamming him for making an agenda-driven film, especially targeting Pakistan.
In the meantime, the 'Greek God of Bollywood' Hrithik Roshan has come under the scanner and has been facing criticism and social media trolling. Hrithik on Wednesday night gave his own Dhurandhar movie review which did not go down well with fans.
Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram handle and shared his review on Dhurandhar movie.
Hrithik wrote, "I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It's cinema.
I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can't ignore how l loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema."
Notably, Hrithik saying 'I may disagree with the politics' did not go down well with fans. Many started bombard his comment section on Instagram. Many fans also took to X handle and started sharing screenshot of his review.
A user commented on one of his posts and wrote, "Since when exposing Pakistan’s terrorism become “politics” or are you trying to say what Pakistan has done with India is not an act of terrorism!!?"
Amid backlash on social media, Hrithik Roshan took to his X handle and posted another view of Dhurandhar.
He wrote, "Still can't get DHURANDHAR out of my mind. @AdityaDharFilms you are an incredible maker man. @RanveerOfficial the silent to the fierce what a journey and so damn consistent. #akshayekhanna has always been my fav and this film is proof why.
