As per Travel + Leisure report, Dhurandhar has been shot in multiple locations that include- Thailand's Bangkok, Punjab's Amritsar and Ludhiana , Filmistan Studios, Mumbai, Madh Island, Maharashtra, and Madh Island, Maharashtra, Vile Parle West (Mumbai), Ludhiana's Khera Village, etc.
In the meantime, a video is going viral on X that showcase how the team of Dhurandhar recreated Karachi's Lyari Town in Bangkok, Thailand.
Reacting to the video, a user asked, "But why Thailand? Why couldn't they film it in Indian Punjab or in an Indian set?"
Another user commented, "They did shoot some parts in Punjab, Ladkah. But for Lyari town which is like slum area they can't do in any high density Indian area and won't get permission to shut down traffic for many months. They found one old town in Thailand and transformed it in 3 months(huge budget)"
It is pertinent to mention here that a few residents of Amritsar's Ranjit Avenue have said that the introduction scene that showcase Lyari Gate in the video song of 'Ishq Jalakar - Karvaan' has been shot there. However, True Scoop cannot confirm it.
Still it is a fact that Dhurandhar has been shot in Amritsar and Ludhiana. For instance, the bust stop scene in Pakistan is said to be shot at Amritsar Bus Stand. Furthermore, an action sequence that took place in Pakistan (in the movie) was actually shot in Ludhiana's Kera village.
