Punjab woman chases bus for free travel, narrowly avoids mishap

On the first day of free bus travel in Punjab, a disappointing event has been reported in Jalandhar where a woman narrowly avoided an accident while chasing the bus to board. 

The incident was captured by a youth on his mobile phone which is going viral. It could be seen in the video that the lady who was a pillion on a two-wheeler tried to stop the bus from behind but the driver did not pay heed towards it. However, later the bus stopped at Jalandhar Cantt's entry gate and the woman gets off the bike to board the bus. But, when she tried to step in, the bus driver moved it back and forth and the woman fell on the road thus, a mishap was avoided.

Youth who shot the video shared on social media and captioned it that the woman followed the bus for almost 15 minutes but the driver did not stop it. He added that this is not the first likely instance, the 'Punjab Roadways' bus drivers barely stop the transport for the students too.
